Single-family house interior design with garden arrangement

Residential

Adaptation of a single-family house being a typical "cube" from the 70s of the last century into...a single-family house :). Strictly specified functional program, which the Investor jokingly called a detached studio, allowed for free entry of the assumed function without excessive crowding. A three-storey building with an economic and recreation area (sauna), as well as a garage on the ground floor, a living zone comprising a living room with a dining room, a kitchen and a toilet, a floor with a spacious bedroom, a dressing room, a bathroom and a handy laundry room, in connection with the designed outdoor recreation area including a terrace and a large garden, with a modified elevation solution, resulted in a comfortable place to live for a couple. Walnut wood claddings and developments, diving the space and at the same time hiding large closets and a cupboard, contrasting with the fireplace lining and casing made of alternately smooth and structural strips of anthracite granite, in combination with other high quality materials and furnishings, give the designed space a strong character, in accordance with the Investors' expectations. Preserved terrazzo stairs and balustrade on the first floor made by the Owner's father complete the whole.
